Tipsy is just gorgeous and so she should be with such good looking parents!
Tipsy is from our gorgeous girl Minty (Aust Grand Champion Chilolo RH Mint Julep) and her sire is the very well performed Ice (MBISS Aust Ch Macumazahn Tragicaly Hip ET) owned by Paula Edgar in South Australia. Unfortunately Ice is an old dog and has been desexed so we had no choice but to use frozen semen and Minty only had 3 puppies.
Tipsy and her brother are probably the fattest puppies I have ever seen! They had roles of fat and looked like shar pei puppies. However once they started walking properly, the fat gradually disappeared and they both developed some shape. By the time Tipsy was 5 months of age, she had grown into an elegant, well boned puppy who made heads turn!
Tipsy has the most amazing temperament - she loves everone and is very curious and loves to get up on chairs and tables if she is given the chance.
Her tail never stops wagging and she is a delight to live with. Having said that, we had to make a choice between keeping her and keeping Promise and when Sandra Taylor, Santasi RRs, Perth, Western Australia was perpared to discuss a co-ownership arrangement, we accepted.
Sandra flew over to the RR Show on 10 April to meet Tipsy and take her home and she was over the moon when Tipsy created breed history by being awarded BEST IN SHOW at the tender age of 6.5 months!! We wish Sandra and Tipsy all the best in Perth.
